Starting a background check offer?

Running some profitable background check affiliate campaigns and looking to start my own offer now. From what I've read all of these sites just use the same free public records data.

Anyone have any insight on this? I'm thinking this could be done with some type of scraper but not sure.

You need to get records for each state individually - some states have only court records, and some have also sex offenders etc.

I actually just found what looks like a great souce based off something I read on that page.

I always assumed that they were getting their data from one of a couple of big providers; like intelius.

Not sure though.
