Starting out without prosper202

Hi,

The main idea is I want to start out relatively low key budget wise and see if I can stick to it before making huge financial commitments. At the same time I don't want to go the SEO route and I do have about 200 euros to spend/lose. Maybe a little more if really necessary

Having read the stickies here, I particularly liked DavidLerner's ultimate4 noob's warning/guide. The advice to limit the theory to nickeycake's guide helped me focus.

In the guide very soon there seems to be mention of the prosper202 and getting decent hosting for it. Even though I understand it is 'ok' to setup prosper202 on a separate shared hosting, one idea I can't help entertain is to just learn tracking manually and get using prosper202 once the consistency is there? Or is this insanity?

Basically I'd be willing to get into prosper202 and perhaps separate VPS from the start if it's recommended against skimping on prosper202 though.

For now, I already have a shared hosting almost set up that is reserved for my first landing page/wordpress/whatever. Hopefully in the next coming days I'll figure out what to do as my second hosting for tracking if at all for now...

Thank you for any feedback

Grow with your company. Start on shared hosting, if you find its becoming slow or overloaded then upgrade to a VPS. Spend your money on growth, then infrastructure.
