what's your thoughts on getting traffic strictly from seo? i don't plan on venturing into other avenues (i.e. ppc, media buys, etc) for a while, if ever. will it bite me in my ass sooner or later to rely only on google?

Decide on how fast you want to build links then maintain that velocity.
Record your results and see what worked and what did not work

If your main goal isn't MFA sites then you can do a lot of good things. Put up quality content with pictures and videos. Don't spam it with flashy advertisements and you will be just fine.

SEO is the best. But if you can buy laser targetted traffic, thats somewhat good as well.

If you are looking for a long-term benefit, SEO is must and it is the reliable method to get your website at the top of search engines and to improve the popularity of the website. PPC can bring the traffic to the website soon but it is not fruitful in long run.

How could it... I mean Google owes you a living and I'm sure wouldn't dream of dropping any of your sites.
