Stuck with my fully-featured hotel search webapp

Yes I've tried foreign markets with same luck.

The $800 I made was a bad deal, cause I spent more than twice on ads for getting this revenue.
Basically I tried an aggressive campaign buying "premium" keywords (like [hotel search engine] and stuff like that)

Now I'm doing a bit research on how to get some traffic without using PPC.

Any ideas on that are welcome!
 


What are you targeting with these link packages?
Because you should still be hitting longtail to start with.

You really need to do extensive research in this market, because its all very competitive.

Also, how are you tracking your results.

Good advice.


Basically you don't have a plan. And without a plan you're going to fail.

Randomly buying links is going to do you about as good as randomly buying words via PPC.

EMDs in the making. Which one of you homos have already taken these?
 
You guys are right, I'm going with no plan (but learning how this thing works).

At the beginning I looked for long tail keywords through Google keyword tool, but it didn't work (perhaps for my lack of knowledge). I only found words with CPC > $0.4 and for my profitability study I need clicks cheaper than $0.15

The problem with my site is that I cannot add content, the only I can do is tweak a bit the frontpage (maybe adding a couple of paragraphs).

So, I guess it's gonna be difficult to create some SEO plan without the chance of adding content, isn't it?

Do you guys recommend me to do a deeper longtail KW research? What tools should I use for that? serpIQ? Market Samurai?

Oh, and I have no idea on tracking results.
Right now the website has 0 visitors, so all new visits will come from this sources I think.

What's the right way to do that?
