I know you don't like to share your secrets - so, really, don't. I don't want to hear anything secret, I'm not one to blow people's working techniques at all. As you guys know, I'm the lead developer of WP Smart Tools - and I'm currently working on 2.0.

I'm looking for ways to improve my "Lead Saver" plugin. Right now, its an exit popup generator; which is pretty damn sweet, but I feel its the only plugin that doesn't really live up to its name at this point - exit popups are effective at "saving" leads, but they're not the only, nor necessarily the best, way in all situations.

I'm thinking there's probably some great ideas I'm just totally overlooking. Let me know if you have any suggestions for ways to save potentially lost leads. I'm thinking stuff like exit popups, mailing lists ("not happy with this? enter your email address to see if you qualify for a discount" or something), etc. anything that could potentially be used to save a potentially lost lead.

Joe.

I do like the "not happy with this" idea... I'm not sure you'd get someone to enter an email address at that point, but it might be a good time to offer an affiliate offer.

For us, maybe we'd offer a "main stream" offer as we are more of an adult site.
