Profile Completeness
We optimize and make the most of each profile we create. The content of pages that contain referring links to a website are a factor in determining the ranking score of that website. Not only the amount of content, but the topic and classification of the content as well. Simply put, having more, relevant, on topic content such as video embeds, photos, links to other properties, and additional details, makes for a better listing and a better link back to your site.
And... when major search engines scrape for business data, details such as business hours, payment methods, number of employees and revenue are also looked at for identifying the legitimacy of a business, so fill in those details on the order form if possible.
Multiple Photos
We gather relevant photos to represent your business. We filename them using target keywords and variations. We upload these photos where possible and use keyword tags and captions. These help classify and categorize the page that the business listing is on - the page that has a link back to the site and other properties. On some sites, photos and albums create subpages of your listing with links to the main profile page, and these photos can also help these business profiles rank for local terms - you get the idea.
Professionally Written, Keyword Optimized Descriptions
For whatever reason many people don't seem to recognize the fact that local SEO citations are also link building. Most listings include a link back to the site. When building links, the content of the page matters - even more so lately with recent algorithm updates of major search engines. Furthermore, using different keyword optimized descriptions on high quality business directory sites helps them rank for local terms. Through various testing, we have figured out that the same description can be used 3-4 times and the listings still rank well for local terms, as long as they are indexed within a couple weeks of each other. Additional Links and Interlinking
We add additional links to other already existing business profiles such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked, and Youtube, as well as other important pages on the company website. Interlinking between profiles helps a great deal with branding and local SEO.
