The new Facebook layout

Has anybody noticed any significant changes in CTR since Facebook started making the new layout mandatory?

(Not putting this in the giant facebook thread because it has degenerated into fail and stupid)
 


The new facebook layout is horrible. I'm having to constantly create new ads, because they all become inactive because of the horrible CTR's.
 
when did it become mandatory.. i have seen my ctr's dropping over the last few days
 
Yikes. I haven't gotten that far yet. I am semi new to Facebook. I put a profile up on there and have forgotten about it. However, I have a client that wants me to set her up with a presence on Facebook and I am going to be doing that very soon.

Should I be scared? lol

^^ Very. It's as if Facebook does not want us to advertise. Facebook hates money - it really is that simple.

It depends on how you want to use Facebook. When you say presence it can mean you want to create a profile like you did for yourself or you can also advertise via their pay-per-click ads program.

If all you want to do for your client is create a profile, you shouldn't be concerned. It's a great way to create buzz. You can even create a "page" which you can promote on Facebook. Its like a mini site that is interactive - people can leave comments, etc.

As for the ads you see on the periphery of the pages, it may be more challenging for the time being. It seems advertisers are experiencing less quality traffic. Probably because the ads are hidden in all the stupid tabs that I personally find annoying.
 
hmm they have gone tablicious! i liked the old layout plain and simple, the new one may have it perks but i will probably only notice once they break it.
 
i hate the new FB as much as anyone, but they are actually making MORE money now.

Before it was just 1 ad per page now its 2
before it was ads on the left = low ctr ...now ads on the right = higher ctr
plus now theres more pages because they split the "profile" into 4 pages "info", boxes etc...

so, they are going to make more money... it just sucks that they didnt focus on advertisers interface first...
