Thoughts for getting back into affiliate marketing

Hey guys,

Looking for a few good ideas to get back into affiliate marketing.

For about 2 years I had a nice site affiliate/"free iPod" type site, but the forums that I got traffic from went down. I have access to a bunch of great affiliate campaigns but I am looking for any recommendations as to a good direction to go.

articles w/ affiliate ads? ebooks on digital point?

I had great traffic before with "freebie trading" where users refer other users for small paypal payments. Was a bit unstable but it definitely got some good traffic from sites like ProjectPayday, etc.

Any thoughts from you guys would be really helpful! Thanks in advance!
