just recently stopped running stuff through them because i havent received a payment since jan. AM keeps in contact but forwards all my questions about payment to accounting and accounting does respond by phone or email. i suggest not working with them.

Traffic Needs is SLOW to pay. Stay away at all costs. I waited about Net 90 for many of my payments. I bitched and moaned so much to my AM he eventually changed his IM "away" message to "I'm sorry dude, so sorry, I'm doing all I can"

I normally stay away from posts like these.. But...

We've had no problems thus far with TrafficNeeds. Try messaging tneedschris on AIM if you're having issues, he should be able to point you in the right direction.

TMAN,
I would venture a guess you're hammering Traffic Needs hard and producing mid 5 figures a month then. From my experience, TN pays it's top grossing affiliates first, and the lower end of the food chain receive their checks net 90 in many cases.

Back in their day 2-3 years ago when TN had solid offers, and we made about 15-20K a month for them, we were paid promptly. Then when their offers begin to tank and we moved on to other places, and sent them about 75% less traffic, we began noticing checks would come in Net 45... Net 60... Once we stopped working with them 100%, our last check for a measly $300 came in maybe 3 months later.

So, unless you are prepared for marriage with these guys, there are better places to go for speedier payment.

BTW I can vouch theyre all a nice group of guys, but that doesnt mean I want to do business with them.

Once again, we have a network who does its own INTERNAL TESTING and thinks theyre emailers.. its been my observation that networks who do their own internal testing on their offers, who like to mail, etc. are the hardest to work with as your
secrets are never safe once they find out. I've always preferred networks that are clueless in this dept. and just watch and applaud from the stands at us.

Hey Roundabout,

Not by any means. We toss a little bit of volume their way and have had no problems thus far with them. Not to say anyone is wrong in this thread, I was just sharing my personal experience.

Lead,

Gotcha.

You know, this happens a lot I'm sure. All I can do is tell you of stories past, maybe they did clean up their act and are better structured and swift with payments. You'd think I would have received an apologetic email from them telling me that, in an effort to get back our business, but whatever. Just keep your eyes open ;-)

anyone got paid by these guys recently? if so how much? they only owe me $500 or so but there is no way I'm growing a relationship without getting paid first.

I've had the same negative experience. It's not really too much of a let down considering the number of networks out there with superior offers and accounting departments.

Lets see.. according to the Traffic Needs formula:

If your revenue is===== You get Paid:
$15,000+ ============ Right away
$5000-$14,999 ========= Net 30
$1000-$4999 ========== Net 45
$0 - $999 ============ Net 360

That $500 will make a nice Christmas present for your spouse!

their offers do alright--but they are douche bags, and even at 15k plus they dont pay out on their agreed terms, its a battle monthly--here is an idea make the networks prepay affiliates
