Travel aff. programs?

Hi there.

Does anyone have info on travel affiliate programs?

(Obviously going to start a travel site)

Some cornerstones / info needed:

- commission rates (eh)
- payout frequency / limit
- provides forms for affiliate page?
- Travel from the US to Europe and rest of world

Not sure about details, but IAN.com does pretty much everything travel.

Ive heard that IAN.Com is the best in travel affiliates...

In general I hear that doing anything travel related is pretty crappy, payouts tend to be shit and there are quiet a few stipulations on what you get paid for and what you dont....

The payouts can be good but the problem is you don't get paid until someone actually finishes their stay in the hotel, completes their flight or whatever type of travel it is. People often book their travel plans months in advance so your commission $$ just sits there until they have paid for everything in full.

That really sucks if you are doing PPC and the commission might potentially sit there for a long time.
