Trying to get back into my adsense account

I lost the password (had it written down, cleaning lady shredded the paper) to my gmail address and it happened to be the email tied to my adsense too.

So now I am left unable to get on either. I tried the automated recovery tool for recovering the gmail account, but after 2 tries, both were too innaccurate and therefore unsuccessful. (it has been a couple years because I had given up on it and moved onto other projects or sometimes a lack of projects, but I'm wanting to desperately get back into the grind. So I am trying to get all my basics back.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Is it possible get my adsense account's e-mail changed to one of my current e-mails? (I don't know any info on it other than it has my real name and address on it and the gmail that I can't get into as its e-mail)

If I am out of options as far as recovery, what else can I do to obtain another legitimate adsense account with my real info so I can get paid? And I need it to be 100% legit and 100% mine because this is going to be a long term stable source of income.

If you have any suggestions or can offer some sort of help that you'd rather share privately - send me a PM and we can talk there or we can exchange Skypes.

Any help is really appreciated, bros.

What's holding you back from just creating a new account?
If you had any money sitting in the old account, it would've been less than $100. Is it worth spending all that time trying to recover it, instead of creating a new account within a few minutes and using that time saved towards your new project(s)?

I've never dealt with recovering a Google account, but it seems like it could be a huge waste of time - especially when it's so easy to create a new account.

Creating new google account is easy .. but creating a new adsense account? I wish you good luck with that (and instead plenty of luck).

I remember creating adsense account was so easy back in the days (where you do not have to verify the domain you owned). However, it is still easier to apply using a blogspot site.

And I'm definitely positive that creating a new adsense acc. (with same owner and billing information) is not favorable move here. It will get banned down the road for duplicate account.

Edit: Snap... OP please use the google before u post .. found an answer for you - just do a new application and they will close the previous account.

Why in the world would you write down a password?
Because when you have lots of accounts with unique passwords, its damn near impossible to remember them all. So, what would you have recommended I do? Save them on my computer in a text file, lmao?

To the other two guys in this thread, thanks. I know that google does not want you having more than 1 adsense account and since my real information was on that account, I figured I couldn't make a new one because it would just get banned. That is why I thought I had to recover my old one.

However, I just read the post where google helps you close your older adsense account in order to make a new one, so that is what I will do.

Thanks again.

fwiw, a quick way to get adsense to your google account is via youtube, once you've doe it via youtube you then just click a link within adsense to enable it on websites

Well, I was able to recover my account. Google was actually fucking AWESOME with customer support (when did that start happening? I remember when it was impossible to get a human to talk with you/e-mail you at google).. Simply had to send in an e-mail requesting my e-mail address be changed on the account because I lost access to it and send in a scanned image of my ID that matched the account info on my adsense account. 36 hours later they e-mailed me back asking to specify which e-mail I wanted to have as my primary adsense email and I replied, 5 minutes later they replied saying it was taken care of.

Impressive, google. Thanks for the link, arxs.
