UK Affiliates - Which Buisness Credit Card?

I've just been speaking to one of my US affiliate friends and he says he basically flys around for free because of the airmiles he earns from buying traffic on his credit card. Motherfucker is flying first class everywhere for free because of the amount of points he is able to rack up.

Any UK affiliates know of UK Business Cards where you can do the same or at least get decent cashback on business purchases.

Yes, amex is the way to go if you want to earn points. If you get charged a lot in dollars, make sure to get a dollar CC though otherwise you'll get fucked with the 2.3% commission rate they charge for foreign currencies.
 
I used to be at a company in the UK that used Amex for buying all traffic - they could pay for the whole company to fly 1-2 x a year to the US (50+ people). As well as give each person 100k airmiles per year personal allowance.

You can get Amex in the UK or about 100 other cards that offer cashback or points.

Yeah Amex is gonna be the way to go, is it possible to get an Amex dollar CC if you are a UK business owner?
 
AMEX is the way to go...start building your brownie points for the Centurion card ;)
 
The UK Amex gives you 2 points per 1GBP or 1:1 on the IDC card.

Only Visa reward cards I found that were decent were the Hilton/Mariott ones but they weren't business cards.

There's no business reward cards I found that are visa/mc.
 
Amex in the UK FTW... excellent customer service & love seeing the surprise look in the faces of rich old fucks when they see me fly first class..
 
Just been approved for the AMEX Goldcard with an unlimited spending limit.

Time to pull out those 5% ROI facebook campaigns I ditched months ago :D
 
The two main airline alliances are One World and Star Alliance. It's worth looking into which type of points you'll be earning and with which airlines you'll be spending them. Not all points are equal in value either.

You can tranfer the miles into Virgin and British Airways frequent flyer programs. Although not 100% sure if you transfer 90k amex miles you get 90k virin miles on the other end. Will have to check this out.

Not sure if you're aware but Virgin Atlantic have their own Amex card (with annual fee and no-fee flavours), you also still have to pay the flight taxes/surcharges when redeeming airmiles for flights.

Not sure you can get one for UK businesses though.

Having a quick look on the amex site, there appears to be a BA AMEX card. You can then use all your BA points on the oneworld alliance.

1 point for each 1 pound spend

with the Australian qantas amex its 1.25 points for each dollar, which i guess evens out more or less.
 
I prefer to use cards that give credit or cash back myself usually it amounts to about the same value. Though if you travel a whole lot you can sometimes get more value from the flight or hotel type cards when you consider tax ramifications and other things. Of course if you spend as much as some affiliates you'll have trouble even traveling enough to use up all the miles.

Either way AMEX cards are almost always the best bet I've found for rewards because they rape merchants a lot more on fees for you :D
 
yeah .. i use the virgin black card for my uk biz, i think you get about 2 points for every pound u spend. You need 120,000 points to fly first class.

Yeah just looked up a return flight to NY from london. To fly first class you need 90k points per person. That is more than doable in a month.

The only bitch is trying to find a way to pay the current traffic sources I have with Amex. Facebook is obviously no problem. Some of the direct buys I have going though only accept wires and paypal.
