Unable to change link Color in Blog

Hi All

Iam unable to change the link color in my blogger template.

The code in the blogger for link color is

<Variable name="linkcolor" description="Link Color" type="color" default="#58a" value="#5588aa">
This is giving a red color for my links, want to change the link color to blue.

Can anyone help me ??
