I am based in the UK and i am running a few UK based sites. I have a site that i am about to launch and i want to host it in the US. I need a GOOD and RELIABLE US based host. Who are the market leaders at the moment? In return for your valued opinion i may sign up via an aff link providing it's not just any old host....
Thanks.

I have an account with hostgator and after 2 years ( I belive it's almost 3 years actually ) I am not planning to cancel

Depends what you're after. Shared, VPS, dedicated?

Anyway if you are after a dedicated server I'd go for Softlayer.

Liquidweb are also great. WiredTree are okay, but their tech support is not that knowledgable from my experience.

HostJury has horrible reviews from Site 5 users.

for shared hosting

Hostgator is the best in over sellers.
Steadfast, HawkHost, MediaLayer and Liquiweb are top notch.

have two hosting services with 100% response
slicehost along with 256 mb pkg in$20 /m butt it is little bit expensive
Blue host ulimited space, bandwidth. and host unlimited site only in $ 6.99/m
and BH is going kool must go for it..

Thanks for the responses... blue host seems to be cropping up alot ... ill look in to it.

BlueHost (and its sister companies HostMonster and FastDomain) are the kings at overselling. If you don't believe me go find someone with hosting from them and do a reverse IP check to see the literally thousands of other sites hosted on the same little crap server.

Bluehost is a good choice. Great for personal and small business websites. Their customer service rocks. All legit us based customer reps.

Been using them for 7+ yrs...just don't host pron or anything vulgar or they will slice your nuts off. other than that you should be cool.

http://www.bluehostcouponsite.com - should give you a 50% off price if you decide to go with them

I have used blue host in the past for shared, they seemed ok. Most of my stuff doesn't require a vps or dedi. Depending on what you are in the market for, if it's a dedi or shared, do some shopping around, find some other reviews and check specials.

If you are looking for dedicated or VPS hosting check out webhostingtalk.com's dedicated server section under advertising (ignore the quote feature). I always seem to find the best deals there.
