US/UK links to non-English sites

Hi,

Have a non-English site that is getting quite a few links from US/UK sites, i.e. from sites that are in English.

Is that a good or bad thing in the eyes of the almighty Google?

PS: All the links are manual links from quality sites, usually acquired through awesome infographics + manual outreach.

I think it's a good thing. If they're organic backlinks from high-authority sites.... can't go wrong there... It's better for huffpost to link to your non-English site than not linking.. how could it hurt?

I agree with jv1999. It's a good thing since it'll add traffic. What do you mean by "it hurting"? Like does Google care if it's non-English and stuff?
