validation errors

I don't know with what tool or technique this web site was created, but how can you get 74 validation errors on a small web site? I get lots of excuses when I ask for them to be fixed. Two of the errors are really basic: no doc type and no html tag. They did something really weird with these files and I am not sure where to put the html tag or if it even matters with all of the other stuff that is missing.

What do you do with a sloppy web designer? Anything besides just dropping them?

Is really simple to get A LOT XHTML validation errors and a medium size site. A single error in an iterated part will multiply itself in a single page. Do you have the URL, just to check it out?

The site that had 74 validation errors is Top Health Alternatives and the other site which lacks a doc type and html tag, etc is Real Chocolate Truffles.

I think I will keep top health and maybe pay someone else to fix it up (except it's a jv on another persons server right now) and probably just dump the other cause I don't think there's much money there.

I am not sure which doc type it is as I am just starting to learn code and haven't analyzed it yet.

I didn't look around much but this will proabably take care of 90% of the errors.

Add alt attributes to your images.
Use & where you have ampersands in URLs.
