I wouldn't really say this is the wrong sub forum because I didn't come here looking specifically to hire someone from WickedFire, but to find out where I can find a good VA. I'll have the details in a week on what I need done, and I'm willing to give you a trial run once I have the details.

Odesk.com and freelancer.com is the best source to find cheap workers but be sure to test them with some sample task.

There are lots of outsourcing providers who pretend to be the best, that's why you need to be careful and look for the reputable ones.
I suggest to hire a Staff leasing company instead of a freelancer. because leased staff are permanent workers of a company and are easy to reach in case you need them. Freelancers do not have employers so they do as they please and sometimes cannot be contacted for various reasons.

Its depends. whether to hire a staff leasing company or individual freelancer is not the point, in my view.
The problem here is, check it out if they have any work records, report samples, their porfoilio, and the way you can get in touch. Preferably, they should be able to do the job and communicate well.
