weird referers showing up randomly in prosper202

Hi all. Recently got myself set up with a TrafficVance ACC which I am quite pleased about. Only thing is, since using it in replace of lead impact I ran an existing campaign and have been getting some random referers show up in my tracking, and randomly at that. I am using prosper202 and nearly half show up with something like " http://www.servads.com/sc?p=YTI4MjEx...dg%2FEJMCSp2X%2Fte4ek7KrTEevS9Ow9JrunVMYo2Yv

This is a pain because the end of that garble URL is then interpreted as the keyword for my stats. It does this for about 50% of the visits I get and have no idea why. If I hover my mouse over the little status icons in the visitor tab I can see it does pass the keywords on the landing page but this won't transfer though to show in my analyze tab.

I thought the referer was the targets that you add to your keywords list in traffic vance. Confused!! :angryfire:
 


that's the domain TrafficVance serves all their ads from. You don't track by referrer. You track URL's and keywords by appending {KeyWord} to your link.

Yes I did this. I added the {keyword} tag to the end of my tracking URL but I am getting 50% with my correct keyword appended ok but lots of others I seem to be getting the garble through as a referer. Like I say, If I go into my visitor tab I can hover over the the click stages and see that my keyword is passed at my lander page but I think prosper202 only takes the referer keyword for the analyze stats. I just end up with a building list of useless keyword rubbish like "lQyvrrOg%2BicSVSqsBkREJJ6SCjp4r8dM1pwL9o3jw%3D%3D&" mixed in with the actual targets I wanted. why would I receive the URL in my tracking like that sometimes but not others????

I have seen that too, but for me it's only like 0.001% of clicks that where the keyword looks all garbled. I think, if my memory serves me correctly, that the fix is to go into your Prosper202 Admin screen and change it to "Pick Up Bidded Keyword"
 
Brilliant! I just went in and spotted that. Have changed it so fingers crossed. Really appreciate the help!
