I am stuck in a rut. The guru's say to create quality articles and expect to pay about $5-10 a piece. They say do not submit to article directories, you need to keep and post this great content for you own site.

So OK i have the articles created, post one about every 3 days, and then these costly articles go into oblivion in about 2 weeks.

It seems like you need to have an established popular site to get your money worth on these articles, but just posting these quality articles will not make your site popular.


What step am I missing here?

• Are your articles useful? Do people actually want to read your articles? Or are they just crap spewed out. If you're spewing out crap you're not going to be getting organic links from people who find your content useful.
• Are your articles optimized for particular keywords? For example, I wrote an article that optimized for a long tail and now I'm ranking on first page of google with zero links on the article and I'm actually seeing real traffic after 48 hours. My site is 10 days old.
• Do you have an xml sitemap and are pinging google with it? Do you have a html sitemap that users can navigate (like archives or categories on wordpress)
• Do you have a list of related articles on your new articles?
• Do you have a list of the most popular articles?
• Are you pinging your articles out with pinging services?
• Do you mention your articles on twitter and FB when you post new ones?
• Have you tried writing an article, spinning it, and then submitting it to a few article directories?

Guru's are shit! They make money by teaching stuff that they learned from other guru's old stash. Be your own guru and test everything out! You know that's what I've been hearing all day when I was on WaFo All shit man!

1. Get the article for $5 yeah go on...
2. Post it in your site... yeah go on...
then what??
3. Put a signature on your post at the last part like "Article Posted by: yourname"
4. Then wait for the article to get Indexed by google! or get some bookmarks to it
5. Then Post your article to the top PR directories like Ezine, goarticles, Article base, Squidoo, Hubpages etc! Get the Top 10 with real traffic and High PR.

You'll get everything out of your article by doing that,
6. And if you want you can probably convert your articles into video's then submit to top 5-10 video sites
7. Convert it to PDF and submit it to Docsharing sites.
8. Get that article and post to 5-10 High PR web. 2.0's

Out of 1 article you probably can get 50 backlinks brah! And Duplicate "penalty" is a shit made by Gurus! There is no penalty whatsoever aside from google will show only 1 on the top of the SERP but still is indexing the other links with the same content. So stop believing shit and do everything yourself. Think about this, Most spammers gathers scraped articles on the net right and most are not spinning their shit... so do this mean that the owners of the original article will get penalized? no man, Google will rank the most relevant or the oldest but no one gets a penalty. It's just that the creator has the edge over the copied ones.

Webmaster tools will see the sites created as links and a link is a link no matter what. The only Duplicate Penalty exists when you post the same content on 1 website. Then that's when you get penalties from google! But other than that is shit!

I can give you sites that only has a 1000 word content on the webpage and that content is distributed in the list I gave you above. The site is still on the First - second page of google right now for the target keywords. That's 1 of the backlinks the site has aside from PDF's have different content scraped from ezine. And sites are still ranking even with multiple updates.

Remember, no one gives a sh1t what content you have on your site, if you're not ranking for anything...because who's going to see it?

So just post about 2-3 articles a month on your site and concentrate more on doing SEO to get ranked for relevant terms...When the traffic comes in, then you can start monetizing it.
