What Do the Rep Icons Mean?

I just discovered that I have rep ... what do the little icons beside the rep ratings mean? Some look red and some look blue (I am colour-blind, bear with me.) I would have assumed one was positive and the other negative, but if that's the case my estimation of the collective IQ around here just went down dramatically, because I've got different positive and negative ratings with both icons.

Anybody know?

Blue == Med Rep
Red == Your Fucked.
