What happens if one of my sites get deindexed by Google?

Hey

At my webhost I have several different sites in the same folder.
Example: MainFolder/Site_1 MainFolder/Site_2 etc. What happens if Site_1 gets deindexed? Will Site_2 also get deindexed because it's in the same MainFolder? Maybe it's only the url which gets deindexed, I honestly don't know and appreciate answers.

There is a risk.

If you have a pattern of shaddy sites all on a shared IP - Google can and has been known to depress the entire IP. I doubt it would happen if there were only two sites, but if you run 10 or 20 sites on the same IP and many of the sites are crap and get de-listed don't be surprised if the other sites start falling in the search rankings. Especially if there is any interlinking or the domain ownership is the same.
