Hey fellow marketers! I have a client who asked me this question. I know of some courses, but I want to get some other thoughts on this question.

let me know what ya think...

Thank in advance~!

Why anyone even need any course on media buying ? Simpliest shit ever in theory, just practice it.

one good value is Chad Hamzeh's Conversion Classroon?, it's a WSO that contains 10 hours mostly covering different paid traffic sources, it's close to the coverage some of those $1000 CPA course have, he in fact goes a little more detail about Insertion Orders than some of the other guys. This 9 mo. old WSO is still available for a big $47. His second? product, Traffic Black book sells for a bit more and appears to be webinar recordings from a similar part of late 2010.

In contract to some other courses, he only talks about what he has first hand experience with.

Nah, there's basics you should know -- frequency caps, out-clause, requesting even distribution over the flight dates (had one ramp spend from $1k daily to ~$6k overnight once I exercised the out-clause), etc. Unless you're referring to self-serve ad networks (Adsonar, Adblade, Adbrite, P360, TJ, etc.).. I wouldn't consider anything that doesn't require an IO a 'media buy'. And negotiating an IO in your favour requires some degree of knowledge.

Thank you! I will check this out. If the information is actionable, profitable, and scalable, the $47 price tag is an investment. Thanks again!
