Whats up with the Rep "Balance"

I have a total of 8 rep feedback, only two are neg, only two are positive, the rest is that balance icon above. (And the two negs are from the same person)

Why is it, that it won't go pos/neg when people only have a choice of approve/disapprove when giving rep? I'm still negative despite having more positive feedback than negative.

I think the weight for each person's vote varies depending on the rep they carry.
 
a better question would be does anyone besides you look at their rep or if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it does it make a sound or how much wood does a woodchuck chuck?

The easiest way to do it is just click User CP up in the top left. It should show you a list of those who left you rep, what comment they made, and if its pos/neg/neutral. (You can check your points by clicking the +W under one of your own postings)

I just didn't know that the +rep from folks were possibly weighted.
