When Do You Call It Quits?

At what point do you realize a campaign is just going to lose you money?

My situation: doing a campaign for 1 week, spent 170, made 115. I was at a profit until this weekend (spending 30-40/day, making 40-60) then all of a sudden no sales, so my profits just got eaten up...and then some.

Should I stick this one out since it was profitable in the beginning? What's a general rule of thumb for calling it quits on a campaign (if there is one)

Did something change on the affiliate program side? You've only been doing it 1 week?

The ONLY thing that changed is that I doubled my ad spend and started split testing some new ads.

The ad that was making me the money before is still running (getting even more clicks now due to more money in the daily ad spend)

Everything else is exactly the same. I'm still getting the same ctr, same order form impressions, just no conversions.

The first day I had a 27% conversion rate (from the order form)
2nd-4th ~10%

Then 0%

Maybe I just got lucky somehow in the beginning and it was never a profitable campaign to begin with?

Bro I had the same exact thing...

For 3 days straight I was making almost 200 bucks profit.. then all of a sudden my conversion rate went from 10% all the way down to 1%

Epc was over a dollar now its barely at 7 cents!

The network owner said "the advertiser's website was down and it should be back up and running"

I just now ran the same exact ad with 2 different networks and I still see that 1% conversion rate.. Some of these advertisers are such assholes. I changed absolutely nothing in my ad. The advertiser is probably scrubbing 90% of my leads. Because its not possible for an ad to just die out of nowhere. I wasnt even close to reaching 1/5 of my targeted audience

Damn that fucking sucks.

I still have yet to figure out what's up with my conversions. Idk if merchants can scrub sales from clickbank...I would hope clickbank handles all that responsibly.

Maybe the lander changed.

No, the lander is still exactly the same, and so is the price.
