so I have a site ranked 3 for the main kw and mostly first page for all the sub keywords. i did some social bombs that got all my ranks to the first page and some senuke web 2.0s' but at this point I have no idea where to go with my seo. what kind of links do i need to build to get my ranks going higher? most of my on page seo is pretty damn solid, have probably more contant than my competitors. tips would be much appreciated. thx guys.

try some high PR comments or some blog networks. Otherwise your best bet is just some more time.

To be able to give you any kind of advice, we need FAR more infomration that what you've given us.

Specifically, how good is the SEO of the sites that are ranking above you. There's no secret formula for the number 1 spot, it's all about being more appealing to the "g" than other sites are.

How old are they? What's the page rank of the page that's ranking for the keyword? How many backlinks go to the domain and to the specific page? What quality are those links? Are there .edu's and .gov's in there?

And then how is this different to your site?

Hi Tyrant666,

Are you building contextual anchor text backlinks from high PR sites? If not then you may want to try this as its not how many links you have. Its the the quality of the backlink. Also, are you giving your links any juice by creating rss feeds out of them and submitting them to rss directories. You may even consider paying for a quality backlink on a monthly basis, just make sure its high PR and not a ripoff when it comes to the price.

Also, consider building a link wheel so that you gain more authority with Google. Just make sure that there is at least one incomplete pathway, as in not every link has to eventually link back to your site. Sounds strange but it will look more organic.

I hope this helps,

Roman
