The thing is I search for something long the lines of craigslist beginner and culdnt find anything. I just want start my way at the bottom as if I know nothing, which I pretty much don't, and work my way up. so if u guys can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. if not, u can just roast me that's always fun lol

If you've got a budget of a few hundred dollars you can start testing PPC campaigns, take a look at the Nicky Cakes newbie guide.

Newbie Guide | NickyCakes.com

If you've not got that much, but can afford $10/month and some domains start learning SEO. For this I recommend the stickys in around this forum.

Hey Cooler, I read the Nicky Cakes guide, and I am wondering if their is a more in depth guide to split testing. This seems to be the hang up for me. Also, what type of content are you supposed to put on a landing page? Hundreds and hundreds of relevant words that answer questions, or a bunch of junk to get people to click on the offers? Such a noob I know.

If you are intent on learning the concepts of SEO, PPC, Clcikbank and other affiliate related information then you can (as a first step) hit Ezine Articles and search for any keyword to learn more.

You can also hit on the related articles provided and make your way out of there by earning consistently But, in the start I would advise you to spend the earnt money to purchase some learning products and enhance your skill set rather than soending it as a pocket money.

Do not fall for looooooooooooooooooong sales pages too :)

most networks will invalidate your leads if they find out you are sending them from craigslist. Search, find legitimate ways to get traffic. Craigslist is not the thing to learn.

If i were starting I don't begin with Craiglist. These leads are not accepted in almost all the networks. Imagine you have a lot of luck and you begin making a kill 60% CTR shitty leads. If you use an email/zip submit offer these leads will not satisfy the merchant and then consider you out.
You need to blend it with legitimate traffic as outofcoffee told you and sending your traffic to different networks is also a good idea. If the CTR is too high you have to send shitty traffic to lower it.
I remember I began with a Caracol Cream Free Trial Offer. I sticked to that offer buiding a blog ranking the second in Google for Caracol Cream. The second month I was doing $400 per month. With these I learnt a lot of SEO and from these I could jump to other methods.
Choose a method which you feel confortable and stick to it until you begin to make money. Change offers, change your landing page, and test, test and test, but if you see the method works with other people don't leave it.
