Just sort of question running on my mind if which is really effective between the two, link pyramid and link wheel?..

I like pyramids because all secondary pages are separated. as a result if something happens to one of them then it doesn't affect others.

In b4 various other link polygons

I like this one.

I actually like them both, link pyramid and wheel, but have more experience using link pyramid. My current website is using link wheel, which is the first time trying it but I do like the results so far.

Personally, I think both are really effective just matters which one you prefer so I would recommend trying both than choosing.

Link lines are the shit.

[Money site] <-- [site 1] <-- [site 2] <-- [site 3] <-- [site 4] <-- [site 5] <-- [site 6]..

I would prefer link pyramid because it is the most legitimate method of creating a good linking structure.

You can see, webmasters opines differently regarding link wheeling... Many says its black hat while other believe it spams the search results.

I prefer link pyramid. I think link wheel can be track easily by google lately. So, link pyramid is much better for me. Just note that not all link are equal.
Never link your spam scrapebox or xrumer (heavy blast) to your money site. It's ok if just used for second, 3rd, 4th tier.

The key is ip diversity and backlinks quantity and quality.

However the power of this kind of backlinks (pyramid and linkwheel) is not as good as it was (in my opinion).

Yea i agree. The problem with linkwheels nowadays is that the footprint it leaves behind can be tracked by google pretty easily. That is why people have developed link pyramids, or polygons so that footprint would be harder to find by G. That doesn't really mean that linkwheels are dead, they can still be very effective, but the popular choices nowadays seem to be drifting away from the regular linkwheels.

Link pyramids are all the rage these days.

Just trying to be more tricky so Google can't figure you out, which is probably the best way if you want to partake in these kinds of link strategies.

So if your option is one or the other, go with the pyramid.

Worked for the Egyptians.

:)
