Easiest way to beat it, create new url and re-upload with new url or do you guys open a new account each time?

Any help on the best way to fix this, greatly appreciated.

I got slapped on one of my sites last week - again! This was after getting slapped on another site a month ago. This is getting to be a monthly occurrence. However, I have 2 other sites in the same niche, and they didnt get slapped.

Are all of these slaps on the PPC side, or do they affect the organic side as well? Some of my organic traffic is dropping down a bit, but I don't think it's enough to call it a slap.

why the fuck do they slap people and then allow you to just create new campaign and run again...it doesnt make sense. we get slapped once a month or so and are up the next day. doesnt make sense at all that they wouldnt flag account, flag certain ads etc etc.

so frustrating.

Maybe they keep slapping it because you fuckers just switch URLs and are back up in a day. There's got to be a reason for the slaps.

Completely unrelated.

Google does "slap" organic sites and de-index them on a regular basis though if they feel they do not offer value to the visitor (AKA - MFA sites)

This is true, the only difference is that you don't hear about these as often as you do with PPC.

After the last slap, I actually built a whole site around the niche (you are gonna have to take my word for it). I had articles added on there purchased from fine writers here on WF - added an article every 3-4 days. The landing page was brand new and the content of the lp and the site were dead on.
Also, after the last slap, I did copy the entire campaign to the tee as far as the kws go, however, I made a separate adgroup for each kw with just 2 kws (exact and broad) and targeted each ad according to the kw. Bastards still slapped me.

I however think this is what caused it. I made a wordpress site in the root directory, with all the content. Used the display and the destinaton url as the root directory. But, built a separate folder with a landing page on that url and pointed kws to it. Maybe Google does not like that, and considers a thin affiliate site.

Interesting. There has to be an explanation to why the slaps are coming, Google just wouldn't slap to slap (as much as a you guys would like to think otherwise).

It's simple. They want "user experience" aka full featured sites, tightly refined to match the keyword.
We want conversions.
Often a fantastic user experience does not equal a conversion. So we war with them.
Their idea is that if the user experience is awesome when they click an ad, they'll be more inclined to click ads. And Google will make more money.

Check out the post by chad on cdfnetworks, seems like a plausible solution worth giving a try.

I have been getting the backhand from Googs for over 2 years. They have never once mentioned shutting off my account. I just throw the same links back up with different domain. It has progressively gotten quicker that I get slapped. It's about once a week now which is a pain in the ass.

What reasons are they giving for these slaps? The "improve your landing page relevancy" bs? Because the problem could just as well be what you're promoting (the offer), not how you're doing it. Their reasons are often too vague. Talk to some of their chat representatives and make them tell you the real reason you were slapped.

I have experienced first hand and heard from both other affiliates and AMs that Google really doesn't like CPA "free trial" type offers these days. (The ones that require the user to pay s&h).

My my guess is the same, like I mentioned on another thread, I've never had my campaigns slapped since last year until I put up some green tea offers the other day. I don't know, it could be the quality of the site as well.
