Why I donated to the Prosper202 team and you should to.

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to remind everyone that those Prosper202 guys make a really solid product and are still supporting people daily, answering questions, fixing issues, etc. Wes and I had a brief chance to talk and he told me his team is still working 60+ hours a week supporting the questions and issues that arise out of the forums. They have never charged a dime for their Prosper202 software. If you use Prosper202 and it has helped you in any way to better optimize your campaigns you should consider donating to their cause.

I donated today and would love to have other people chime in saying they have as well.

If by chance you have not given to them but use Prosper202 consider even just a small amount. Their software has helped save me tons of money in hours saved optimizing campaigns.

I would donate to their comedy team who came up with the material for Paul Bourque and Jon Volk to say in their interview.. There's no way that was real. Definitely scripted for hilarity.. right???
 
I concur and I did donate when they first asked. Wes & Steve are some of the most decent guys around.
 
I need to donate. thanks for the reminder. It fell off my list of things to do when they changed their interface and removed the reminder.

I think the headband that Paul was wearing in that interview was hilarity as well. WTF? Return of Bjorn Borg?
 
Has anyone noticed they stopped getting donations right after TrackingPro came out? Up until then, they were getting them left and right. Then people realized, "Hey, they're making a shitload of money off of this new software. Guess they don't need the money after all..."

I don't think they've got a donation since then.
 
Making a lot of money != profit. Last I heard there were like 6 of em living in an apartment. I'm surprised Wes has been able to go this long.
 
they really are bootstrapping this project. When I talked to wes at asw I was amazed at all the money they are putting into this and I got a tour of their pad over skype which was cool a couple months ago. I donated to them a couple times every time wes helped me with an issue. These guys are doing great work and they need the support.

I've noticed that too. A lot of people also thinks that the development of Prosper202 is DEAD now since they launch T202Pro. I remember that almost two months back they said that they were working on a new version 1.3 scheduled a month ago as per the p202 roadmap and even asked for feedbacks, however till now nothing about an update on the new version.

I believe more people would donate if they feel that P202 is not DEAD yet in terms of development and bug fixes. I do understand that they should put all their efforts towards T202Pro, however if they expect people to keep donating to the P202 project they need to show some working towards the improvment of prosper..

I'll be sure to donate once I've got mine up and running, heard some great stuff about Prosper202 so we shall see how it goes.

Its tough when bootstrapping and being understaffed. As someone said earlier, its six people in one house scrapping by.

I think they just forgot to update the bar. I made a donation a while back and the bar still hasn't updated. Regardless, anyone who is making money and using their tracking software should give back. I really do hope Wes manages to achieve long term profitability considering how much he's put into his business.
