why is his site ranked higher than mine?!?

I'm not going to link the sites cause the niche is kinda hot right now. However, my site has been around about a month and a half and is ranked 1.5millionth or so, getting about 200 unique visitors a day. There is a site that has just popped up and is ranked 19millionth or so(alexa) and he is getting the #1 spot for blog searches in google for this niche. Mine isnt even on the first page. I have the seo plug in for my blog. The only thing I think it could be is that his domain name is "exact_niche_keyword.com"

HELP!
 


Exact match keyword domains get quite a bit of weight, and alexa rank makes no difference for Google rankings. Build backlinks to your site, and do some on-site optimization.
 
your site is less than 2 months old...he has the exact name domain...and it doesn't sound like you know what linking is. There's a million reasons why he's ranked higher than you.
 
stop worrying over the alexa ranking. Google doesn't care. Exact domain will more than not outrank you if they know what they're doing with SEO. 1 1/2 mos is nothing...you're still "untrusted" in google's eyes. Do some quality link building and build up your trust worthiness
