I know I'll take some heat for this, but oh well...

I'm looking to barter some services. I'm new to Affiliate Marketing and want to start off right. In every area of my life I've been successful at, I've found a mentor who's pointed me in the right direction of where/what to learn, saved me time, money, and from making the mistakes that all new comers make.

Now to save everyone some time, I've read a shit ton of information, Nickycakes guide, PPCF 2.0, PPC Classroom 2.0, etc... and have a good idea of what it takes, but what I'm looking for is a partnership with this trade off:

There's two areas of my life that I have tremendous knowledge in, and that's:

Social dynamics & dating : I am and live with two other Professional Dating Coaches with one of the, if not thee, top and most respected Dating Consulting companies in the world... and

The financial markets (stocks and e-mini futures, as well as trading techniques) : This was my previous business and I am still involved in it, just not as active as I was before.

So the trade off is this: You teach me how to apply the right information to become successful and profitable with PPC and Affiliate Marketing, and I will teach you how to invest your money wisely and correctly, or/as well as, how to become amazing with women and get the most out of your dating and social life.

The problem is that most successful affiliate marketers dont get successful by someone holding their hand the entire way. What you need to do is take everything you read and start applying it. I see you do have some skills some of the bigger guys may find useful but those bigger guys hardly come to this forum and won't see this thread.

Anyways if nobody else helps you then go to any big news site and look for text advertisements about acai berry.

That should get you started.

You probably need a lot less info/guidance than you think, just a nudge in the right direction. Study the marketplace, then get out there and start setting up campaigns/testing.
 
Wasn't there a thread almost like this a year ago or so with some dude that was willing to have someone move into his house in Cali that was a "dating expert" in exchange for AM knowledge? I remember the guy basically promising a lot of tail in exchange. Wonder if it's the same person trying their luck again. The 1 post count is a little suspicious.

Thanks for your input...I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand, I guess mainly give some direction, or to answer this question:

"Knowing what you know now, if you had to do it all over again, how would you do it?"
 
you forget that first you'd have to meet an affiliate marketer who didn't shit his pants and run at the first sight of a real live woman. keep her behind glass and you may be ok.

This is total B.S.
People who are good at getting puntang will be good at A.M. (tell them what they want to hear, tickle their desires, etc, etc.). Why don't you use that skill to figure it all out. Start with the dating niche - DUH!
 
i'd definitely say 2 things

1) if you know dating already, start with dating offers
2) i understand you think a mentor will help, but really, just start trying stuff and watching what others are doing. you'll get more help from people when you actually can offer them some real value in exchange in AM (as opposed to in other areas of life).

take some money, and start trying things, and follow what works. lots of people (myself included) think in the beginning that they need some angle or some secret knowledge, and really you just need to try as much stuff as you can because that and only that will make it work.

I'd say that's your best bet. Affiliate marketing is tricky since its essentially a bunch of middlemen. When someone finds something that works, they are more likely to hide it than tell you. You'll figure out a lot more by doing and observing.
