I own a directory that I am converting to wordpress. However, I have a major problem with the contact form.
I am trying to build a contact form that has 50 states in one of the fields, after a visitor clicks on the specified state, the cities offered in that state populate the second field. It would also be nice so the form recognizes what state or city page the visitor is on (the site has a page for every city and state).
Each city within the drop down has to have a unique email account assigned to it (each city within the field needs a different email assigned to it). We have 50 states, and 850 cities, so 850 different email address that we'll need to be able to update easily.
I've done some research and think Contact7 or Custom Contact Forms could be good options to start with. I believe that you can use either of these plugins and just modify the plug in with a simple jQuery code.
My Goal: We need to update the email address for each city field quickly and easily with no programming skills required so the form with go to the correct recipient when filled out (850 cities = 850 different email address. \
Additional note: when launching the form plugin, all 850 cities will go to one email address. Then someone in my office will update the address accordingly for the cities we already have advertisers in.
Compensation: I am willing to pay for someone to modify any plug in so that it fits our needs. Right now, we only have a front end programmer and this task is a little over his head. I don't think this is a major task, but I need for it to be done right.
KEY NOTE: This form has to be able to be updated very easily by someone with no programming experience (such as a secretary).
Lastly, I'm sure this can be done easily by someone with experience with modifying a form plug in. P.M. me if you want to take the job and how much it will cost to do it.
