WordTracker, Keyword Elite or Overture?
For Newbies....keyword building softwware...
When deciding what keyword building software program you feel would best fit your business, think about your skill level and how much support you would need to assist you in creating your campaigns. Advanced users would love Wordtracker, but if you need a basic to advanced software program to do the work for you, with lots of cool ways to find top ranked websites who are your competitors, and how much they are paying for their ads, and you also want to systematically watch your competiton's ads week to week, I would suggest Keyword Elite.
Assuming you have a super website that you want to promote, you may want to check out both programs and see for yourself. I like the "buy the software now and use it forever, with free updates of Keyword Elite" vs the buying a membership like with Wordtracker. I use Keyword Elite and make money. Why? Well, its easy to use and learn, also has free video tutorials as well as a pdf guide that comes with the software, makes building campaigns and putting them "live in your adwords campaigns a breeze." Keyword Elite also has a good support base. I love easy money.
As far as the long tail words, just try to get them to convert. I find that with my websites, Google adwords works best, although the competion is keen for choice keywords. I do best with competitive keywords since they convert and consistently make me money. Currently I promote a dog training guide website and have found that although long tail keywords are cheap, you do get what you pay for. (if you want the URL please email me)
I find that selling pdf guides requires catching the attention of buyers that are willing to buy. So how do we get them to open up and produce their credit card? Write an eye catching ad that speaks to the buyer. Give them what they want, at the price they want.
I have had consistent success with profitable ad writing tips in DayJob Killer, if you would like more info on what works for me, just email me, be glad to help. I have several profitable websites, and have learned a lot by trial and error over the last ten years. Good luck to all on your campaigns. Jennie
