WP Theme Decision

in your experience what type of WP theme typically converts better... (using a nascar fan site for example)

a subject related theme with racing cars in the header, and nascar colors schemed throughout the theme.

or just a regular non subject related theme.

product images as aff links? if so pick a theme that is not over powering... you want the attention on what your trying to promote on the site.... not your design elements... white, grey, black.... shades of each make good templates because our eyes are drawn to images of color, so if that image happened to be a banner to a product.. it would get some eyeball love.
