Well this raising good questions about what cheap labour is for some and what a fair wage is for others. Making money writing for some in India literally changes the way in which they can live life... and for others in the US it is a way in which they can supplement their income.
I have encouraged those writing with our company to look at other places to write content to make more $... to my surprise many of them choose not to and stick with us.
We are also positioning our company to offer a range of content products (ebooks, press releases, etc) that will help accomplished writers to make more.
I'm not afraid of this kind of discussion as it can only help to make TCA a better place.
"Ya you will not get any good writers for this.." - Really? Can you please give me a sample of what good writing is, how much it costs and also who will provide it? In turn, I will provide you an article on the subject matter, with much less cost and of similar quality. I am not here to take away anyone's business, but simply giving those with a tighter budget the opportunity to still build their sites. I also notice the itrader you received was for writing a 250 word article for $2... If my math is correct... thats .008 per word... Thats a tad higher than our lowest paying rate and much lower than are highest .03 - I guess I dont get that.
