Will this be integrated into xMarkPro and replace piwik?

Yep, integration is already done, and sitting on the devel server right now. Upgrade + newsletter should be out to all xMarkPro customers within the next 2 - 3 hours informing you of the upgrade, new product, and of course, giving you a discounted price if you'd like to purchase.

Please note, Piwik support isn't being removed from xMarkPro, and will remain there. You'll have a choice between which analytics system you'd like to use. If you decide on xTrackPro, it'll be installed directly into your current admin panel, and seamlessly integrate with all existing aspects of the software.

Looks interesting but terribly expensive. Why wouldn't you scribble some sort of comparison table that we could see what do you have special against current products in the market?

Best luck anyway

In all honesty, I'd say it's incredibly cheap -- I'm just a shitty marketer. Competition is selling for prices such as $5000, $800/month, and so on. Granted, they without question beat us in terms of features right now, hence why xTrackPro is a simple $400, with lifetime upgrades included.

This will evolve though as the weeks and months tick by, and without question in my mind we will have a superior product in the near future.

My aim with this is to become the Adobe Marketing Cloud - Marketing myths debunked for small businesses. Right now, generally only large corporations use "smart analytics", machine learning, etc. However, with a small bit of education, I believe there will be a mass influx of small businesses moving towards this as well. Every online store from selling crab legs, to jewellery, to custom knives, clothing line, party planning company, etc.

They're all going to gravitate towards "smart analytics", but can't afford $60k or $150k solutions like the large corporations use. This will fill that void.

So again, I honestly think $400 is quite cheap. As it stands it's a very high-end piece of software, plus with lifetime upgrades, it's going to become FAR superior than it currently is as the weeks and months tick by. Not a bad deal. For another example, with xMarkPro for a simple $500 you actually get more features than you do with ManageWP at $350/month.

HI matt

can you please pm me the upgrade discount link.. I never received this. thanks

Really? Probably hit the spam filter. In that case, all existing xMarkPro customers get 25% off, so the new software is only $299.95. You can either get a new license and install it as a separate system, or you can install it directly into your xMarkPro admin panel. Full integration with xMarkPro is already supported.

If you'd like to take advantage of this, just login to the Customer Area, goto Manage Licenses section, click on the appropriate table row, and on the next page you can purchase xTrackPro at the discounted price.

Any questions, let me know!

Matt

are there any benefits to installing this on a separate system as opposed to installing this inside xmarkpro???

Nope, none at all. The only reason it's an option is because some people may be using it for a different project instead of their blog network, and like to keep things separate.

Ok, first of many upgrades released. This one includes:

  • Revamped campaign statistics to use much less memory, and be faster loading.
  • Full integration with Magento and Shopify complete, with more ecommerce providers to come shortly. This means if you use either, you can easily integrate them with xTrackPro, and it'll pull all your categories / products allowing you to easily define various product preference rules. For example, maybe younger males will get pushed different products than older females, or whatever you'd like. For full details on the integration, please visit the user manual at: Shopping Cart Integration.
  • Minor changes so now only mySQL v5.1 is required, instead of v5.5

Also now have a few test cases online, although it will be 3 - 6 months before we have the appropriate data to publish any white papers with the results. If everything works as intended though, we'll see an increase in their online revenue over the coming months. Then as we add more machine learning and other planned features, the increase in revenue will be larger and more efficient.

Price has also temporarily dropped to $295 to help get the word out. Had a few people saying they thought it was expensive, which I don't quite understand. For example, if you have an online store that's generating revenue of $200k/year, and this increases that by even a simple 3%, that means you're generating an additional $6k/year off a small software purchase. I can't see how anyone would consider that expensive.

Nonetheless, more to come, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks!

EDIT: Yes, I know the video sucks. And no, that's not how I normally talk. I can't stand giving my monitor a presentation though. A professionally done video will be up in the coming weeks.

Am I understanding correctly? I would need to survey an visitor before I could segment them?

By no means required, and is completely optional on a per-campaign basis. Same with the questions asked -- different questions can be asked on a per-campaign basis.

If wanted, you could skip the survey all together, and segment by geographic location, referrer, keywords, source variable, user config (browser, OS), entry page, etc. For US traffic, it'll also automatically detect the county they're in, and you can filter by type of county -- predominant income level, race, age, martial status, education, etc. For example, you may want to pitch to people in a predominantly wealthy latino area differently than a poor white area.

Then as things get developed out, we'll continue adding more. There will be a global pool of anonymous traffic data you can optionally signup for later, and with some machine learning we should hopefully be able to get a decent determination on who the visitor is without the survey.

Honestly though, for typical small online stores, I don't see a quick 2 or 3 question survey with a header of "Please allow us to better assist you" anything too inconvenient for visitors. They're generally at that online store because they're looking for something in particular.

Wow, this is making me really hard. I don't really need it, but I still want to buy it it looks so good.

If you're on the fence, grab a copy and just sit on the license, because there's no chance you'll see the price this low again. And you get lifetime upgrades with it. Once I get this developed out more with some good machine learning, better marketing material, and the envisioned sales funnel in place, there's no reason this can't sell for minimum of $2495.

If we can approach an online store that's making $300k/year, prove to them via a 30 day free trial we're going to increase their revenue by say 5%, then obviously they're not going to have a problem with paying a decent sized invoice. Especially if there's a consultant in their city they can sit down and meet with.

Keep twisting... :D

Honestly, I really, really, really want this. I just have concerns about losing interest while the licence goes unused.

Also, is this open source and are you going to be harvesting our data (anonymously or otherwise)?

Also when you say, "envisioned sales funnel," do you mean you will eventually be able to track customer value over periods of say 30/60/90/180 days depending on the funnel/demo/point of entry? Or do you just mean you're creating a funnel full of one time offers?! :)

Well, your license isn't going to go anywhere, and if you're subscribed to the mailing list, we'll make sure to keep bugging when new upgrades are released. :)

It's encrypted with ionCube, and you can thank the people who like to pirate software for that one. It doesn't harvest any data or do anything shady though. However, coming shortly there will be a global pool of traffic data you can opt into if wanted. If you do, you'll select an industry / vertical for each campaign, and it'll automatically feed anonymous details on your traffic to the global pool.

In return, you have access to that global pool, so not only can you see your own traffic data, but traffic data on a wide range of industries / verticals, etc. It will also greatly help with machine learning determinations regarding who a visitor is, what they're looking for, how they're going to react, etc. Since there will be a much larger data set to use to train the algorithms, it'll be that much more precise.

I don't know exactly what's even possible at the moment though, and still need to get with some machine learning experts (already lined up), and start throwing around ideas as to what's possible, feasible, etc. So everyone, buy a copy and help create a couple jobs in the West, so we can provide you with even better solutions! :D

No, I meant internal sales funnel. Get a sales manager on board, training programs in place, consultants in various cities hired & tried, marketing video & sales brochures done up, CRM in place with local businesses for each consultant to contact, etc.

But yeah, what you said regarding the LTV is all definitely possible as well, and I'm sure will come in the future as the weeks and months tick by.
