YACG site and adsense

I downloaded it and installed it, the only thing I edited was keywords and article, and the google ads appeared matched to the content.

After I edited my adsense Id in config.inc.php now adsense won't match the ads to the content, it's showing the ads related to the content of the default website.

I deleted everything installed the default, and went through the same steps and the adsense ads won't change.

My adsense Id starts with ca-pub is that correct? In the config.inc.php it only starts with pub-

You should have three different account numbers, ca-pub is for content, ca-ref-pub is for referrals and another one for the search engine. The pub- is what's in the google generated scripts. Sometimes it takes a while for relevant ads to show up on your site. How long did you wait?
 
It's been a couple hours. Before I edited my adsense ID, and I uploaded the default site, and only edited keywords and ad content, it displayed related adsense ads immediately.

Then I edited my adsense ID and it went back to displaying the default adsense ads. I deleted the entire directory, repeated the same steps. I've tried this many times, and it won't display relative ads. That ca-pub is the only adsense that is displayed under, "account settings". Is this the correct code? It says adsense for content. I just checked my adsense code on another site, and the code I copied from google, doesnt have ca. so i copied that code, but it's still not working.

Adsense is working, it's tracking clicks. Can somebody explain to me how to edit the php code, so I can get the adsense code from google and copy/paste.
 
the template is pure html, just ignore everything is between <? and ?> and you can edit everything else...
