Yahoo....denied!

I opened an account with 100 dollars, and put up a CPA campaign. Two ads, pointing to a landing page for a CPA offer. After a week of waiting, the word came bacK: denied for editorial reasons. Anyone doing cpa on yahoo?
 


build a history first since you got a new account then after 3-5 campaigns running you'll be off editorial review :D
 
Rajuthan, thanks for the idea. I guess the issue I have is I do CPA only. My first CPA campaign was denied. How do i build up history with them and get off review, if all i do is CPA? I think they saw I was an affiliate and denied me. So, do i have to do non-affiliate, non-CPA campaigns somehow for a while to get good history? Is that what you mean??? Thanks,

yep run stuff like e-cards, dating, etc...
 
Just setup a few really well defined campaigns such as:

keyword: "Sony VAIO VGN-AW220J/B review"
landing page: "this laptop is awesome, buy it."
bid: $0.15
budget: $1
 
Yeah, I will try again with a dating site I have. I think maybe my being new plus I was promoting a very hot topic might have set them off. We'll see....the adventure continues.
 
Thanks appreicate all the ideas...i run on adwords and msn and want to get onto yahoo. That is the point of this thread.
 
HR, dont link directly to the Advertiser's landing page. What is your display url and the target url? Buy a domain related to your niche and redirect it so its not blatantly obvious you're going right to advertisers site. That still doesnt always work, do you have a landing page anywhere in your forseeable future?
 
Roundabout, I was not direct linking, I do not take that kind of chance. Yes I built a landing page, and it converts nicely with traffic from other engines. Yahoo just didn't like the biz model I think, ie, affiliate marketing. I do not want to post it in the forum however.
 
Update: I uploaded a dating campaign to yahoo and it is running. Thanks to rajuthan for the advice. This board can be helpful when people give good advice. Of course, other times they punk you. Oh well.
 
HR.. it's not just because you ran a work at home offer, you must have trigger keywords in there that caused Yahoo to notice. I have several Biz offers in YSM and have had for awhile, as do others.

PM me your entire keyword list, I'll be happy to check it out for you and let you know if I see anything unusual.
