Yahoo Gold account for bulk upload?

If I do not have a Yahoo Gold account, does this mean I can not do bulk uploads with a CSV file?

I saw the Gold account will convert your file to make it work in Yahoo, but without the Gold account I will have to copy/paste my keywords, etc.

I've searched and just want to confirm I am not missing something.
