I am 21 years old and recently launched my own SEO business with a friend of mine. It has been a rewarding experience and I have learned a lot. I never saw myself as an Internet Marketer because frankly I thought marketing was shady and immoral, but I have found that only working with inherently good companies (based on criteria in alignment with my beliefs) alleviates this problem.
I see tons of potential to make a positive impact with IM through innovative new technology and techniques. Still, I am very overwhelmed by the abundance of information, various paths, and constantly-changing environment.
My question is:
In the opinion of those of you who have been doing this for years, where should I focus my cognitive resources if I want to be as successful as possible in this field?
Any input is appreciated... even if you see this as a platform to make a witty response so people think you are cool. I promise not to judge you.
