Youtube search stats??



What specifically are you trying to accomplish/research?

You can get a rough estimation by looking at the number of views on 5 related videos(the larger the sample, the better the estimation of course)..

You can do various things with the data you get from the "suggestions"
1. Suggestions stems from aggregated data based on a large number of searches(the more suggestions, the more popular the term)
2. Look at video views for the most popular related suggestions
3. Try to get a rough idea of the niches popularity by using the regular G KW tool

You don't need exact numbers to get a very good idea of what you're playing with..
 
you can also look at the STATISTICS and DATA link and see where the videos are being watched (embeds), the view stats, the increase or decrease of it viewing popularity and much much more. This will give you an idea of what people are looking for and the rates at which this media is consumed or shared.

Damn, last time I checked this it only had referrer on some other basic shit. Thanks for the tip :)
 
How do I clear the search engine on youtube? When I type in a letter is shows a list of everything I have searched for before.
 
YouTube is a place for people to engage in new ways with video whenever and wherever they want. YouTube began as a personal video sharing service, and has quickly grown into the world’s leading video community on the Internet.
 
Well....I've been trying to figure that out for a long time too. What could possibly work that I read on another forum is for you is create videos (small, big, whatever) and have those videos target one keyword or keyword phrase, then upload the videos and see which videos get the most hits based on searches, then when you're ready you can upload your real one with all of the right terms for the niche based on your research. I personally haven't tried this and because of that probably shouldn't have posted it, but it sounds logical...albeit a lot of work.

Normally I just use the youtube video stats to get an idea of what works along with google's keyword tool and google trends to see what's popular....I also leverage off of the news to see what's worth looking into because if it's on the news...chances are it's effecting a ton of people...and where there are people in trouble...there are monies to be made. *snicker*
