Heading to Adtech NY. First time at an Adtech conference.

Have you guys found the sessions to be worthwhile?

A couple of them look somewhat useful, but my sense is that the most helpful thing will be searching out new traffic sources in the exhibit hall.

The only reason to attend adtech would be to take pictures with nickycakes.... Unless nickycakes is in a session, then sure.

If it is your first time I would recommend going to as many sessions, exhibits, etc as possible but make networking for traffic sources the focus and main percentage of your time there. Try and find your way to a few parties as well.

You'll gain more from hanging out at the London bar than at all the sessions combined.

When you say a lot, do you mean a picture with dullspace/circa/nickycakes in all 3 of his forms at once?

If so, fuck sessions im gettin my drink on.

I'll be going to ad tech, and also to Shawn Collins's Oldcastle Pub & Restaurant at 160 West 54th Street meetup on the 3rd. I got the invite for this at Facebook. Anybody else going?

Is there a list of all worthwhile events at AdTech NYC published anywhere?

The only value I've ever found to attending the sessions is during the Q&A period where individuals in the audience introduce themselves prior to asking their question. It helps to pinpoint specific individuals/companies you're interested in speaking with (stalk the door as people head out and introduce yourself). With that said, you're better off saving your money and walking the exhibit hall. Unfortunately, since moving the event to the Javitz Center, there's not a central bar location where everyone hangs out (the London is the place to be during Affiliate Summit East).

A players ball ;)

like that?

For the most part I feel the sessions are worthless. I personally get more out of the show walking the floor and scheduling meetings with clients and potential clients.

Yea the Bruce Clay session on SEO could be interesting. Likely nothing outside of what is already available in his literature though.

I'll be there.
