Hey guys... I'm starting with PPC. I have one serious doubt which is, I live in Portugal. And I'm worried about the taxes. I have completely no idea how it works.

When you make money, for example, through an international CPA network (Peerfly, Fluxads...), how much do you pay in taxes or what steps do you have to take so your tax situation is taken care of? Do any of you guys have an idea on this, specifically for Portugal or Europe?

Thanks

are you a US citizen? if so, you can set up an "S" corp and have the money come to a US bank account, and then have it sent to you as a dividend. i live in israel, and this approach is very advantageous and perfectly legal (assuming you file in the US and your host country)

No... I'm a Portuguese citizen residing in Portugal. I tried talking to a lawyer here but PPC business is not too known, so he couldn't give me an answer.

Then you asked the wrong question.

Ask him like this:

I am starting a company here but I am selling to Americans through a website. How do I do this?

Most likely you will pay $0 in the US and the right taxes in Portugal...but I am not a lawyer.

In the case of working CPA networks is it the same as selling something through the Internet? I mean, you' re promoting their offers and receiving money from the networks directly.

Does anyone from an European country have input on this?

It may be that Portugal has a tax treaty with the United States, which means you only need to pay tax in Portugal.

You may be able to sign a Certification of No United States Activities and fill in a W8-BEN form so you don't get taxed in the US and only get taxed in Portugal. The W8-BEN form would carry your Portugese Tax ID number so the US knows who you are and the tax treaty can be adhered to. Most of the major US affiliate networks are geared up for this, i.e. they have W8-BEN forms in the interface.

Note, this is only my understanding and you should seek professional advice if necessary.
