which is why I've gone the 'polite' route so far. I don't wanna screw someone without reason. Personally I think he's a G boy 100%..his response, or should I say, lack of response to the questions/evidence in my last email practically confirms it. But I need to get him to confirm...and I think I know how I can do that.

I see hiring, but where do you see firing? Having the ability to fire would mean he's working internally, 100% this should progress further.. Looking for job candidates though doesn't imply he's working internally. Many large firms pay external recruiters a few months' salary if they end up hiring your referral. Even if he forwarded a few applicants to Google who ended up getting hired, it makes sense he'd have the connections to pull this.. But again, it doesn't imply he's working "at" Google.

Shitty situation nonetheless and I'd love to see him -- and particularly the guys helping him on the "inside" -- get fucked.

I would seriously take this to techcrunch.com. OP has more than enough info to out this prick and also make google look like douches in the process.

Make sure you have plenty of screen shots of what is going on because once this hits the fan the person behind it is going to shut eveything down and deny it ever happened.

I saw an article on techcrunch a while back about how they had exposed digg for gaming articles so they were pushed to the front of their own page, all evidence was supplied by a digger who kept a log of what he saw was going on.

They will eat something like this up in an instant if it is presented correctly. I would be willing to work with the OP on this to make sure it is pushed through the correct channels. Hopefully the people behind this can get sacked and also raise a bit of awareness that this is happening within google to not just the OP but probably dozens of affiliates.

So many years ago, I'm doing business in Israel.

My boss is Israeli, moved to Canada. We're there together. The hotel is great, it's the height of the intifada and I'm the only Gentile in the whole frickin' luxury hotel.

He's a secular Jew and Israeli and had to do his time in the reserve. Saw some serious stuff (most Israeli men have at some point in time). But not all Israelis have to do time in the military. Apparently a lot of the Orthodox Jews get religious exemptions. Which really, really pisses off the secular Jews, not the least because some of the most radical Jews that pick fights with the Palestinians tend to be the Orthodox.

I was told this in excruciating detail by my boss. His name was Moshe.

Anyhow, that's my f----- Jew story. Now I can't remember why I'm telling this story, the missus and I are going to wine tasting party tomorrow and I thought I would practice tonight. Better sign off
