New Adsense Program Policy

Haven't seen anyone discuss this yet, so I figured I'd ask what you all think of the newly updated Google Adsense Program Policy?

I wonder if they consider adwords 3rd party. Seems like they don't want people spamming, buying clicks on a 3rd party search engine isn't unwanted advertisement.

I took it as meaning sites like myspace and wikipedia. Putting a link on those to your mfa site is unwanted advertisement.

They also added in a bit about images next to ads.

"May not place misleading images alongside individual ads"

technically, that doesn't say we can't use images.

^^^ thats what i was thinking, its says"alongside" so i wonder if you can still use images on top of scrapers?

There are other threads about the image question, but like I have said before I believe you're fine as long as you do separate them enough from the ads, and keep them very general. (No specifics products, brands, etc.)

What in the hell is an unwanted advertisement? For users, aren't all advertisements unwanted?

pretty soon they will be saying can only be used on sites where the traffic comes from pure typein or adwords.

meh...to be honest I haven't done anything with adsense this month and haven't felt so free in my life.

I've thought about running it on a site that uses all BH to see how long I can get away with it before I get banned.
