NEW Facebook Ads

Sorry to hijack this thread but I dont want to start a new one with my dumb question. I have an offer I think will do ok on FB, I just tried to set up an account and just get a blank page. Are FB not accepting new advertisers, having issues or not accepting UK advertisers? Or am I just dumb?

im trying the following url What do you want to advertise? | Facebook

Cheers

I doubt you're going to hijack a 128 page thread with your little post. The page works for me.

okay what the FUCK is going on today.. no impressions bid prices seem high but not crazy like last week.. CTR has gone to shit on even my best ads.. is anybody else having major issues today? I'm thinking its out of whack due to the holiday kicking off curious if others are seeing their campaigns take an absolute shit today as well.

its either a temporary issue - it happens occassionally, or they're reviewing
your account. did you enter any credit card details? if they have cause for concern over a card they do a review, which takes a few days, in the meantime you get the blank page instead of the account page.

no issue with uk advertisers.

Was there ever a definite answer re: facebook auto pausing ads? I've searched the thread and emailed facebook - the best they can give me is that the LP has changed, which it definitely hasn't (no popups, traps etc) : /

I've had trouble getting similar ads reviewed and am scared to change my long performing beast too much incase it gets disapproved. Not ideal.

what was the question again?

if they have a problem with your ads they will dissaprove them, even if they've run for months.

they don't 'pause' problematic ads. although there was a bug recently when some campaigns were paused or could not be paused at all

They've been pausing a single ad of mine every time I set it to Active. I did change the LP, though and thats the reason they give me. I just unpause it and wait for them to pause it again:(

CTR has been alarmingly low compared to normal and CPC's way high because of it. I blame the holiday season for the influx of noob advertisers bidding within or above the inflated suggested bids. Hopefully it goes back to normal soon, but Christmas is coming up, so who knows.

I don't know if this is a common problem or not, but I'd appreciate any help.

I'm trying to promote a completely legit offer in Europe, but the tracking link automatically redirects U.S. traffic to a different offer.

As a result, the interns from the U.S. disapproved all these ads.

Is there a way around this? Should I use a redirect and then swap out links afterwards, or use a georedirect script? I heard some people get banned if they user the former method, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

You should use service like bit.ly which points end url ....mmm...to some legit related shit like yours. After approval change links in bit.ly to your aff tracking link

Maybe you will get banned, but you can always do another account.

P.S. Stupid idiots from FB really need to get their shit done and able to see international links, at least if it target lets say Australia and view only from AU what is wrong with it ? Why should I use tricks to make it visible to some retarted intern ? sigh....

Manage the redirects yourself. Monetizing International Traffic

I found a good georedirecting service that can pretty much redirect to any country, setup is like a minute.

Geo Redirect | CPAClickz

very easy for people like me who are retarded with editing and uploading php and html files to the webhost directory.

I should clarify, I'm aware they disapprove ads rather than approve then pause them. I've had an ad approved which has run for approx 2 months so far with a good ctr.. out of nowhere it is being automatically paused by facebook - I set it to active and as soon as it receives clicks it'll be paused by the system and I'll receive an email saying its due to a change in the landing page, the landing page which has NOT been changed. Have emailed facebook, predictable std response. Few others in this thread had experienced it, but no one had posted about any resolution, just a bitch because she's been a good earner so far :o

Did you switch from USD to another currency?
The supported payment methods depend on the currency.

  • US Dollars – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB
  • Japanese Yen – Visa, Mastercard, JCB
  • Other currencies – Visa, Mastercard

Out of curiousity, why bids ...well, not $5-$10 / click, but still way higher than it was after that last "high bids" glitch, for some targeting before the glitch it asked me $1.3 cpc in average, now it asking for same $2.5, what to do ? Competition increased even more that's why ?
