I've been fairly frequent on several forums through last 10 years and there's always a time when people start bitching and saying how "the forum" was really good in the old times.

I don't know man... Granted I'm not one of the oldtimers here but I love wickedfire just how it is right now. It's not so much about having people share ultra secret techniques openly but more about vibing with your peers.

And if any of you need a change start with yourselves.

Post hot info in threads, give insight you might otherwise hold for yourself. I've seen forums where one single person started posting so much gold it turned around the whole fucking forum with thousands of users.

I have been guilty on more than one occasion, but can see where the forum is headed if it keeps up. Welcomed post, good wake up call.
 
Sorry, I always felt that the STS section is free for anything, so I normally do not delete threads there (as long as they are only retarded and not SPAM or racist, etc..)

Never got why people get riled up about what is happening in STS.

For the rest.. go ahead and post some useful shit, you fuckheads.
Complaining about how the admins are not deleting enough ..WHAAAAA,WHAAA, WHAAAAA...

That won't create quality posts, someone has to write them. So get to it and stop acting like butthurt emo fags.

I'll be deleting spam in the meantime.

This^^. People need to quit whining and help the dilemma by delivering quality posts. I mean seriously, crying over posts that you don't approve of? You sound like little girls who just learned that there is no such thing as Santa claus.

im in the casual gaming business. its an exciting field with all the iphones, and android now, facebook, and convergence of everything coming.

anybody else do anything in gaming? i saw ashleymadison is paying like $200 per sale this month and it sells, but I suck at AM.

I'll throw $5-10k usd on an ad campaign if someone shows me how to AM ashleymadison on facebook or somewhere. we split it if it werks.

I think most of us know who the quality posters are on here, and who the idiots are.

I for one am always willing to wade through a lot of bullshit to see gems of posts by some of you guys and gals, worth the wait.

So quit crying like babies and aim to be one of those quality people.
 
Agreed on thread value. Might I propose a few new forums:

1) Noobs and Boobs

Noobs will be limited to posting only in this forum until such a time that a thread of theirs reaches a rating of at least 3 stars.

2) Tits and Tips

A feel good thread where users may post a useful tip. Reciprocity or thanks may be displayed in the form of boobs or perhaps another useful tip, or both.

3) Colosseum

Ban candidates become limited to posting only in this forum via mod intervention. Here candidates may fight for their worthiness to remain and prove their epicness. Rep bars become life bars. Life may be added with an exceptional boob post or the candidates pwnage of attacking WF members in good standing.

I and a lot of people do give specifics, especially when the OP has taken the time to show they've researched their question and made a good attempt at offering some quality information as well.

You can't expect people to rush and help someone who says crap like, "I just realized I can earn money online, how do I start?" There's a ton of threads like that on this forum and there's a ton of specific information on it, so use the damn search function or google the question in quotes along with site:wickedfire.com added to the end of it if the search feature is giving you shit results.

Those types of posts and that type of mindset encourages trolling here. You're response is only as good as your question. So make a little effort yourself and you'll get a better result.

You went from one extreme to the other in the course of 5 sentences; no wonder you aren't getting any good information. You're so unfocused, you can't even keep your train of thought enough to recheck over your points before pressing "submit" and ask if they are all relevant to your original point you're trying to make.

Again, you're asking for a handout. You're not providing any foundation for us to know how to help you. You're basically asking for someone's method without providing any good information of your own to work from.

Make an effort before asking for help.

I just found WF and I love the place. I find answers and assistance galore here. I'm a relative newbie to SEO and wouldn't want to be shut out of the meat and potatoes of info sharing. I've followed threads from a seed of an idea posting to a new app created for WF members. Amazing is all I can say. As far as the bullshit posts? I either ignore, read & ignore, read and enjoy.
I think the level of participation by the mods is unsurpassed on any board I've been on (except PFI).
 
There are a lot of useless, shitty threads on here but I agree with Emp - STS should be pretty open to whatever. The majority of the stupid threads are in STS which shouldn't be a problem because when you go into STS you should go in knowing full well what you're walking into - a massive time sink. BST was really turning to shit, but Erect has been doing a good job of cleaning the place up a bit. Most of the other forums still have good shit in them and like Roundabout said, there are certain posters that you know you can expect to see gems from.

A lot of us owe a lot to this place but let's not forget that we all started from somewhere. If we make it too hard for new members we might be blocking some potentially talented new people from coming on board. You have to let the new blood in, in order to remain innovative and relevant.

The drowning threads were goofy, but they only lasted a couple of days, and remember - only in STS. Anytime you start to find yourself frustrated by the level of threads being posted, stay out of STS for awhile and just check out the rest of the forum. I'm not a mailer, but one day recently I got bored of reading all the same bullshit so I stumbled into the mailing forum and was amazed at all of the new shit I learned in about an hour of reading through some of the threads in there. Just something to think about I guess.
