I went to school with violent people like that in California until I moved up here to WA when I was 12.
Gang kids used to kick my ass every other day at school and steal anything I had on me.
You guys all talk shit on here like you'd do this or that to someone if they attacked you, but when people are in groups or have guns/knives it's more easily said than done.
Props to the dude for doin that and being able to stay calm but I swear I would have killed one of those bitches with my bare hands and would have been able to sleep well at night.
I was robbed a few times before (home and in person) when I was younger and it's a terrible feeling.
On a crowded bus like that, it won't be easy. Especially in a guy vs girl situation, everybody's gonna turn on the dude for battery. He'll probably swing his arm and hit 3 other pregnant women while going for the thief.
Best bet is to call the cops and tell the bus driver.
Being charged with assault for doing something like that wouldn't even factor in to my thinking to be honest, you might as well say I wasn't aloud to stop someone raping my girlfriend in case I got charged with assault.
What if this ended differently? What if the dude started defending himself against the females assaulting him?
Does he get branded as a woman beater by the courts/public? Or as a man trying to defend an innocent woman?
The only thing people like that respect is force, so the proper response is to give one warning as loud and clear as you can, then wait. First bitch makes a move you knock her fucking head off her shoulders. Second warning, then wait. There will be no more problems.
Now if it's dude's, you got another problem altogether.
To those of you saying, "I'd have knocked that bitch's head off!"
Grow the fuck up before you run into someone who will murder you.
I can tell some of you have never been exposed to people who are actually willing to kill, driven by psychopathy or emotion. I have. A good friend of mine went in for double homicide. He clipped two guys out of pure emotion. I've met other murderers (won't go into my history, so don't ask).
I'm all for defending yourself against real aggression, but tread carefully. These girls did not pose a real threat - not to the guy, not to the female victim, and not to her unborn kid. The situation did not warrant much more than the guy did.
You don't know who you're messing with out there. Let's say you broke the girl's nose with one shot (assuming you know what you're doing). Suppose that calmed things down on the bus. Good for you. Success, right? What if, during the following week, the girl points you out to her people (family, friends, acquaintances), who want your blood. And they're willing to kill you, your pregnant girlfriend, or your loved ones. Short-term success and long-term failure.
Think it doesn't happen like this? You're sheltered.
I can't tell if some of you are just talking tough on an anonymous forum, or if you're really willing to put your head on the chopping block. But I can tell a few of you have never encountered a killer. Better grow up.
