I’m a long-time lurker here on Wickedfire, so I know that you have a lot of options when it comes to having articles written. Now that I’ve decided to throw my hat into the ring, I know that convincing you to choose me will require some effort.
Although I’m new to Wickedfire, I’ve been involved in SEO and affiliate marketing (to varying degrees) for the last several years. While in school, I dabbled in making money online but, due to numerous other time commitments (classes, interning, etc.,) I was never able to commit much time to it. I recently graduated from college and, with the job search pretty much a lost cause at this point, I’ve decided to jump into affiliate marketing fulltime. I need money to get started, though, and that’s why I’ve decided to offer my services as a freelance writer.
In college, I double-majored in philosophy and political science (two writing-intensive majors.) I also wrote articles for the school newspaper, the philosophy magazine, and did some tutoring in the writing lab. Writing is something I enjoy doing and something I think I’m pretty good at. My dream in high school was to be a famous novelist. While that probably won’t happen anytime soon, I’m sure writing will be a part of whatever I end up doing.
I know that there are plenty of writers out there offering up really cheap articles. Like you, though, I also know that quality of content is critical now and becoming more and more important all the time.
