NEW Facebook Ads

I have a solid 15% click discrepancy between FB and affiliate network - you guys getting about the same? Still profitable, but annoying.

Yeah I have about the same on one campaign(others are lower), but this campaign has been running for well over a month so there's a few duplicate clicks which the network doesn't count.

use a geo ip redirect.. send them to a page if in uk redirect to offer... if not redirect to different page

or

if using prosper or something similar send them directly to the offer... once approved change to aff link ( this way is a good way to get your ads retro'd, banned, etc)

How risky is this method of cloaking? I did a test ad and it seems ads doesn't get automatically banned if you switch urls after approval. However, I only got 3 clicks before I paused it. How common is check-up on ads?

tracking202 links are not accepted by facebook anymore. you have to install it on your own hosting.

if you dont want to do that, you can use the bevomedia web based hosting.

Can anyone confirm this? I've been using LPs, but wanted to split-test direct linking. So naturally I went into P202 (SELF-HOSTED) to create direct-link codes to put into my FB campaigns.

Then FB slaps me with the "Invalid URL" crap. Has anyone had any luck getting direct-linked tracking202 links on FB the past few days?

If that's the case, just make a file that header locations to your url, and put the url of the file in FB?

Or just develop a proper cloaker.

I actually uploaded a few adds lastnight with direct linking and i'm using P202 and i didnt have any issues with the adds being approved.

Do CPM based ads just get tossed in those 4th and 5th spaces below the fold?

I don't see how being below the fold helps any company with brand building if that was Facebooks original intent with CPM.

I've submitted over 1000+ ads the past few days all direct linked through p202 without any problems. All approved within a few hours too.

I need to get my account spend higher than 1k a day on an account.

Been hitting that every day for 4-5 days now.... I know I need to contact them for higher limits at affiliates@facebook.com or whatever.

Is it relatively easy to get an increase up to say 2k a day or do I have to beg and plead and suck some Intern dick?

Gotta love those high CTR's.

That's over a timespan of less than 12 hours and targeting a demographic of 4.7 million.

Do you let your ads run a few days before lowering your bids or just a few hours to keep getting impressions?

I've been increased everytime I hitted my budget 3 days in a row, even after 1k so it'll probably be the same thing for you.

Yeah I've done that and it says in the Help section that you need to contact them for increases above 1k. Is this a new thing?

I'm a bit pissed 'cos it's on a main aged account as well (about 5 years old) and I had to take it through the slow upgrade process. 250 > 500 > 750 etc whereas I know people who've gone from $250 all the way up to 2k instantly on newer accounts :(
